Waste sorting and treatment processes
Project: Internalisation of sorting and processing activities of non-nuclear radioactive waste
Aims and characteristics:
- To carry out assembly operations for solvent liquids, oils and aqueous liquids and the taking of samples
- To perform x-ray checks for compactable and non-compactable solid waste (NCS) packages
- To ensure the processing of polyethylene (LS) and glass (GLS) liquid scintillation vials and processing of 30-litre polyethylene bottles from the assembly process
- Ensure the processing of lightning conductors
