Tritium degassing processes
Project: To study, supply and implement the equipment required for quantitative assessments, and to control the tritium degassing of 200 L drums, whether immobilised or not, in a dedicated « Package Control Installation » unit within the Aube Storage Centre
Aims and characteristics:
- To place the drum within the enclosure formed by the containment layer
- To ensure helium pressurisation and pressure maintenance in order to carry out the watertightness test
- To perform helium sniffing tests with process instruments
- To manage the opening and closing processes for the extraction valve and check the network pressure
- To organise trapping, trapping closure and the circulation pump’s start up
