DIADEMO test loop
Project: To install a DIADEMO test loop for the testing of experimental devices, using a liquid metal and a gas coolant under high pressure (100 bar)
Aims and characteristics:
- To create a dynamic test loop to update, test and improve equipment and instruments for liquid sodium devices
- To re-establish control of the coolant’s quality
- To consider the calculation of piping and sodium equipment under ASME (flexibility and thermomechanics) and the structure according to CM66 regulations
- To allow for sodium elements to be subject to a maximum temperature of 600°C at 3 bar
