Combination structure
Project: To produce the ASTRID combination-structure cuvette shafts model comprising four S355 steel modules, providing a simplified representation of cuvette shafts as part of the development of combination structures
Aims and characteristics:
- To provide very thick sheets (> 20 mm) and curved sheets
- To consider the limitations of the large dimensions
- To perform EXC2 and EXC3-type welds according to NF EN 1090-2
- To meet very short lead times
- To implement a TIG/Coated Electrode combination welding process
