Study of the cooling of corium by water: MERELAVA device

Project: To support the deployment of the MERELAVA test device to study the cooling of corium by water under certain conditions, the design of a thermite-manufacturing workshop (powder mixture in glove box) and the integration of these new means within the COLIMA room of the PLINIUS platform (ICPE) as part of a project by the CEA Cadarache Physics and Modelling of Serious Accidents Laboratory (LPMA) to understand the behaviour of corium, generated from the nuclear reactor core’s, and to model the phenomena associated with the formation and progression of corium within the reactor

MEDEA model modification

Project: To produce and/or modify different lines allowing for the MEDEA2 experimental model, representing the upper part of a fuel assembly within its storage cell, to be developed from its current “cold CCFL” configuration to the “hot CCFL” configuration

ALSOLEN – Piping SKID

Project: To produce all hydraulic and gas circuits on site, including thermal insulation and supply of equipment for a Fresnel concentrated solar thermal power plant, composed of a thermal oil circuit, a nitrogen inerting circuit, an effluent recovery circuit and a compressed air supply circuit

MECANA sodium test platform

Project: To recommission a set of sodium testing devices and develop others to meet new needs within the PAPIRUS (Small Research Facilities Park for the Use of Sodium) platform and as part of the ASTRID project.

LHASSA test loop

Project: To produce the support structure and mechanical circuits for the LHASSA experimental facilities (145-bar high-pressure and 350°C high-temperature water loop)

SOPRANO test loop

Project: To qualify the RJH CALIPSO experimental device for the use of NaK (packaging, transport, handling, purification, washing, dismantling, etc.)

DIADEMO test loop

Project: To install a DIADEMO test loop for the testing of experimental devices, using a liquid metal and a gas coolant under high pressure (100 bar)
